sparrowhawk graphically fighting a starling

Starlings are invasive species, And are known to be extremely aggressive to native birds regarding nesting cavities.

It was difficult for the sparrow hawk to kill the bird because the bird was fighting for dear life by grabbing the sparrow hawk’s legs with its own claws.

The perception and awareness of that sparrow hawk must be terrifyingly good considering it looking around every second like it’s experiencing some hardcore paranoia.

Had a Sparrow hawk in the garden yesterday and just before it arrived all the birds flew off in a panic, I was wondering what was happening and then , from my kitchen window.
